What are Provably Fair and drop rates?

The contents of the cases and the drop rates of the items are public. The case page also has a Provably Fair section so that the result can be checked.

What is a drop rate?

A drop rate shows with what percentage each item in a case drops. The rates of all the items in a case add up to 100%. These rates are part of the case’s public data. At the bottom of the case page, the items that can drop from the case are listed. For the other parts of the page, read What is Case Opening Page.

What is Provably Fair?

Provably Fair is a method that lets you check for yourself that a case result was not changed afterwards. The Provably Fair section of the case page contains:

• Active Server Seed: The server seed. It is shown as its digest (hash).
• Active Client Seed: The client seed.
• Nonce
• Rotate Seed Pair: The option to renew the seed pair.
• Verify Game: The option to calculate (the ticket calculation) and verify a game.

What you should know about results

• Items are symbolic and cosmetic. The listed prices are not the real value of the item (Item Pricing).
